Jennifer Lopez is currently the subject of speculation regarding her looks after making an appearance on the red carpet for the New York premiere of her upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, Office Romance.

The 56-year-old singer and actress attended the premiere on June 2, donning a pale pink corset gown designed by Miss Sohee Couture. While many fans admired her stunning outfit, others quickly shifted their focus to a different topic.

Images and videos from the event circulated on social media, with some users questioning whether Lopez had undergone any cosmetic enhancements.

“She’s clearly showing off her implants,” one individual commented.

Another user inquired: “When do these celebrities even find the time to recover from all this plastic surgery?”

However, not everyone shared this view. Numerous fans came to Lopez’s defense, asserting that her appearance is attributed to good genetics, a healthy lifestyle, and a rigorous beauty regimen rather than surgical interventions.

Lopez has consistently denied having any surgical procedures.

Speculation about Lopez’s looks is not a new phenomenon. Throughout the years, the star has faced accusations of utilizing Botox, fillers, or other cosmetic enhancements. Nevertheless, Lopez has steadfastly refuted these allegations.

In 2021, she directly addressed an Instagram user who claimed she had “definitely” received Botox.

“LOL, that’s just my face!!! For the 500 millionth time… I have never done Botox or any injectable or surgery!!” Lopez responded.

She later clarified that while she respects others’ choices regarding cosmetic procedures, her focus is on skincare. Lopez has introduced her own skincare line – JLO Beauty – and plastic surgeon Gary Linkov has raised concerns about her promoting the notion that her products are essential for maintaining her youthful look.

“I don’t like that she goes out and claims, you know, ‘Nothing happened, it’s just my skincare line.’ That’s just not very truthful,” Dr. Linkov states in one of his videos.

Lopez has previously expressed her desire to keep her appearance natural for as long as she can.

“I want the hyaluronic acid in there. I want the things that are going to help, because I don’t want to have to resort to needles at some point,” she mentioned in an earlier interview.

At the same time, she recognized that her feelings might change in the future.

“I’m not saying one day I won’t, but I haven’t yet.”

“I appreciate myself now.”

The star has also openly discussed aging in Hollywood and how her perception of her appearance has evolved over time.

In a conversation with W Magazine, Lopez confessed that she found it hard to appreciate her looks when she was younger.

“I never appreciated my body or my looks when I was in my 20s,” she reflected.

“Now I’m like, Look at me! Look at you! Not in a conceited or arrogant way – I just appreciate myself in a way I didn’t when I was that age.”

Instead of pursuing perfection, Lopez mentioned that she has learned to embrace the qualities that define her.

“And it’s not about perfection,” she added. “I like the scars that I have.”
