Former Child Star Found Homeless On The Streets Of LA, Here’s What Happened To Him

A wave of worry has swept through social media after videos emerged suggesting that former Nickelodeon star Tylor Chase, who is best recognized for his role in Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, has been seen facing homelessness in Los Angeles.

The 36-year-old actor, who was once a well-known figure on the cherished early-2000s sitcom, is said to have encountered difficult times — and fans nationwide are sharing their sorrow over his plight.

The series, which ran from 2004 to 2007, depicted the middle-school escapades of Ned Bigby and his friends. Chase played Martin Qwerly, the chatty and eccentric classmate who quickly won the hearts of viewers.

Recently, a number of viral videos have surfaced claiming that Chase was seen living on the streets in California. A social media user named lethallalli posted clips that seemed to show the actor in that situation, mentioning that she recognized him and wanted to offer assistance.

In one of her posts, she shared, “I showed him the post I made for him and he said that’s awesome! He said he’ll appreciate any help.” The influencer later revealed her intention to create a GoFundMe campaign to gather funds for the former child star, stating that he was “so excited” about the kindness he received from fans online.

The fundraising effort quickly attracted attention and raised over $1,200 from caring supporters eager to help Chase regain his footing.

Unexpectedly, the narrative shifted. Another TikTok user, didyoucatchthis, shared screenshots indicating that someone who claimed to be Chase’s mother had contacted lethallalli, stating that her son required medical help instead of financial support.

“Yes, Tylor needs medical care, not funds. However, he is refusing it,” the purported message stated. “Money wouldn’t help him. He misplaces phones, struggles to handle money, and cannot manage his medications on his own.”

As per the screenshots, lethallalli subsequently agreed to stop the fundraiser, proposing to transfer the donations directly to Chase’s family. The individual identified as his mother allegedly expressed gratitude but warned that providing him with cash “might actually harm him.”

“He is a wonderful, kind-hearted child,” the message stated. “However, he requires medical assistance.”

Online users started to share their thoughts, with many expressing profound sorrow regarding the situation. “This truly breaks my heart,” one individual commented. “He was my first crush on TV when I was younger.” Another admirer remarked, “It’s heartbreaking that such things frequently occur to individuals who simply need adequate support.”

Additionally, some internet detectives discovered a YouTube channel associated with Chase that features reflective videos on mental health and bipolar disorder, with titles such as “Bipolar Vlogs – The Absence of Color” and “So Be It.” One of the videos contained a heartfelt narration about feeling “afraid” and “lost.”

While the specifics of Chase’s present situation are still unclear, the viral narrative has sparked renewed discussions about mental health, the pressures of child stardom, and the difficulties many encounter when the limelight dims.

One fan expressed it well: “It’s truly heartbreaking to witness someone who brought us joy on television facing such struggles. I sincerely hope he receives the support he requires.”
